The Beijing Fangshan restaurant is one of the more exclusive restaurants in Beijing. It is located in the Beijing Beihai Park on the edge of the TaiYe lake, and offers its guests a glimpse into the Imperial dining experience in the Forbidden City during the Qing dynasty. The Beijing Fangshan restaurant is famous for its quality and variety of meats such as steak, lamb, pork, seafood, shellfish, and exotic meats and is presented in artistic arrangements and given beautiful names.

In addition to experiencing the Imperial cuisine that the emperor had on a daily basis, you can also taste the favorite snacks of the emperor. The authenticity of the dishes is due to the rich history of the restaurant which was started by former chefs from the Imperial Court of the Qing dynasty. The peek into the culinary lifestyle of the emperors in the Forbidden City makes for a deserved position as one of the best restaurants in Beijing.
