The high-cholesterol, crispy yet succulent Beijing duck is an art to prepare and present. The magic of the Beijing duck lies in its shiny, crispy, thin skin with a sliver of Beijing duck meat underneath. The classic preparation of the Beijing duck skin with scallions, cucumber and a slight yet artistic stroke of sauce and wrapped in a delicate pancake. The main dining room has the ambience of the French brasserie with high ceilings, loud conversations and the hustle-and-bustle of service. For a quieter experience, request for one of the ornate and intimate dining rooms. Either way, the Beijing duck is a definite winner in one of the best restaurants in Beijing. |
